Having recently introduced the tumblr widget, I am unhappy with how it looks on a mobile device. Please help.

The pictures appear to be mobile responsive, but the blog widget is very small.  It improves when the device is turned to become landscape.  Please help.  I have written twice for advice on this and have had no help so far.

Hello Hannah,

I located this image in your diary page and noticed that the width was set to an absolute value (600 px) rather than a relative value. This  fits with your other content in the screenshot above as posted.

You would need to explore relative widths for your images so that they are responsive

Thanks, Gop.  I have no idea how to do this!  Can I put an html code onto the secret diary page setting the width to a relative value?  Any help you can offer would be very much appreciated.

Best wishes

Hannah

Hello! I've fixed it, I think.  By pasting this code

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">

in an html widget on the blog page, it seems to have fixed the problem.
I just hope it hasn't created another one somewhere else.

I solved this by searching for 'responsive web design' in W3Schools. Thank you, Gop for your suggestion.

Well done Hannah,

It seems that image setting in responsive design is in a state of flux. There are many solutions suggested but as yet no global standard that I can find. Your solution is one that I hadn't seen previously and thank you for posting it on here.

Your web-site, your creations (and your garden) really are stunning. Simply beautiful.

Great work Hannah and Gop!

Hannah I see you were working with Adrian via direct email on this concern and he was reviewing your case with our engineering team. He'll follow up with you there if he has any updates to share with you and I've also asked him to review your solution here. If it proves effective we'll be suggesting it to others. Thank you so much for sharing it!
