Having trouble with changing name servers for my domain, help?

I want to change my name servers but I don't know how to do it on Yola. I went to advanced settings under my domain name (judyhuynh.ca), however, I changed 'DNS settings' first, and now I think I messed it up (now blank). Then I noticed there's one called 'set up name servers' but I'm confused about the Name and IP address input fields.

Basically, I want to change it to this:

ns1.p4o.net
ns2.p4o.net

So, my domain uses that web host. What do I do to get it to work?

Thanks.

Hello Judy,

Thanks for your post. If you would like to change your nameservers, you certainly can. Here's how: Changing nameservers tutorial.

If you have added these nameservers to your 'DNS Settings', you will want to remove them. You can read more about the Advanced DNS Management for further information on DNS management.

Thanks Brianna,

I was wondering if you can just 'reset' the DNS settings back to the original settings because I removed what I thought was suppose to go there, but now nothing is there. It would be great to just have it back to the original state, so that judyhuynh.ca opens to the Yola-built website.

Is that possible?

Thanks again!

Hi Judy

Brianna is currently offline, but I'm able to answer. YES it is definitely possible to reset the DNS settings. We will have to do it for you and I have notified our DNS team.

Someone will let you know as soon as it has been done! Please allow 24 hours for them to get back to you.

Hi Judy,

We have reset your DNS settings, and you will be able to see your site after 24 hours (usually a lot less).

I hope this helps!
Thanks,
Jackie
