Hello can you copy widgets you've created for use on other pages?

I have created some great widgets, they took some time so I was wondering if I can copy them so I can use them on other pages?

You can do this by copying the widget HTML and saving it as a text file in an editor such as Notepad. This can be copied from the page source code seen by Right clicking your mouse in the published site or by using something like Firebug in the sitebuilder.

When you have another placement then you copy the saved text file into an HTML widget. You won't have the ability to use any original widget controls that you may have used in initially setting it up. Any editing or change would have to be in the HTML. The only WYSIWYG controls that you may have would be those of the HTML widget only.

Hi Jackie,

In addition to Gop's awesome suggestion, you can also use the "Save Page As" feature which allows you to duplicate the page in its entirety, including the widgets.
