Help change my DNS to new host: I've messed it UP!

Can someone from Yola please check my DNS settings and see if I set up my new hosting correctly?

I'm trying to move to a new host. I made the so-called changes on my Yola domain account over 14 hours ago. But my site still can't be found by my browser.

I wonder if the following confusions I had might be why my site isn't showing up in browsers:

-- I may have used the wrong dot-com choice that my new host provided. They gave me 3 options to choose from, depending on if I already had an email account with Yola or not. Fyi, I never had email with Yola. I had just created an email account with the new host before trying to switch the DNS / CNAME stuff. (Did I use the wrong set of DNS info, given I didn't already have Yola email?)

-- My new host gave me 2 lines of DNS info to paste into Yola. Does it matter which one has the WWW typed in front of it? Does it matter which of the 2 DNS lines I added appears first?

-- When I "Added DNS" the 2 times here on Yola, my original coordinates disappeared. Were those numbers supposed to go away and now show only what my new host gave me?

-- Yola originally had my site set up with "A" record. That's gone. It's just lists 2 CNAMEs. Is the "A" record stuff SUPPOSED to vanish, replaced by CNAME?

Hey Jewel,

I understand your frustration.

Can you please post the DNS information your new host gave you?
Could you also tell us what host your using so we can figure out specific instructions for this host.

PS . . . If anyone else has ever has a similar problem, here's what worked for me:

1. Don't touch your Yola "DNS Settings" (which is where I'd gone wrong)

2. The change needs to be made in your Yola "Name Server" drop-down.

3. I needed my new host service to provide me 2 name servers to type in, and each of those needed "IP" info to match.
