Is there a Limit to how much text/links you can put on a page? I have quite a large amount on one of mine and half the page keeps dissapearing every so often and its driving me nuts having to keep replacing it? How can I sort this out?

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear this is happening for you. There is no limit to the amount of text and links you can put on a page, although a lot of content can cause a page to load slowly.

Have you tried refreshing the page when the text disappears? Also does your content disappear after you have added html, sometimes if that is not added correctly or it has an error in it, it can cause problems for your page.

Could you do the following for me, please?

1. Log into you account and open up your site
2. Click on the "Help" menu
3. Click on "Contact Support"
4. Fill in the form and send it to me.

That will give me more information that will help me solve the problem.

Aha...

Sometimes when the page has a great deal of text boxes and graphics if you make the slightest double or triple click to the the box in question it will delete all the text within the box (odd but it happens) If that occurs simply change pages without saving your work(click the No box), wait for the other page to load then and then return to that page you were originally working on. You should see your work still there. I know from much experience that this sometimes happens and found this works flawlessly... The page refresh works just as well but if you are working on a alternate site other than your main this is most cumbersome because it brings you to your main index page. I have at times found it to not work so that is why I had chosen to do it the way I described. It has yet to once fail me...

You can see by my site as to the amount of graphics, text and other resource hungry hogs that I speak from experience...
