My sites: www.utahrusticfurniture.com and www.saltlakemattress.com are now completely in disarray. I can no longer add new content in a manner that looks decent and this "update" has affected all of my spacing and page edits. I am fine with an update if we can learn the new system and adapt moving forward, but the fact that this one is going to force me to re-design all of my websites (15 total on two accounts) is just enough to get me to leave Yola.

The quick and easy fix is to give each user the option to use the "new" sitebuilder or stay with the "classic" option. I have read through several topics and responses from Yola employees on the perks of the new system... but simply put... it is at the expense of destroying old sites built on the old system that we have spent countless of hours making.

A few of my problems:
No longer can I select text and choose the font, color, effects (bold, italics, etc) and adjust as I see fit. This new system is wanting me to group all text under a few options and will not let me adjust each page individually as I need to.

Copying and Pasting is now not an option, (Ive read posts where yola employees claimed this was designed to prevent idiots from pasting too large of images??? ) I copy and paste images and text from my own website on a daily basis, and no longer can do it. This increased the time to edit each page exponentially.

The new update changed all of my existing text size and font for some reason and now it is impossible to change it back!!!! This is the most frustrating of changes, in that none of my site looks right. It looks like a three year old designed it with different fonts and texts right and left.

I could go on and on... but the basic point is this: there is no "modifying and bug fixing" that can resolve the millions of hours it would take for me to rebuild my website from scratch. The only fix (and it is an easy one) is reload the old site developer and give us the option to use and download the new version.

Please listen to me and respond with any possible solutions.... I am incredibly nervous as to the future of my online websites, and most of my business is done from them now.

Hi Matt,

You are completely right. The solutions we have presented thus far have asked a lot of our legacy users with extensive content. We are working on a new solution that takes your suggestion as well as many others here into account. That said, the plan is still being formulated and will take time.

Please bear with us while we work on the issues and if at all possible hold off on editing your sites until we have more information on a solution.

We understand your anxiety and are doing all within our power to provide the best possible solution.
