#1. When I drag an HTML widget to the bottom of the site, sometimes it appears at the top of the site!! Can you tell me why? What am I doing wrong?

#2. In addition, the wording "Search Engine Optimization - AddMe" shows up either at the top or bottom of every page --- is this normal, or, is it the service I am using? If it is the latter, I don't think I want that, so who do you recommend?

#3 I am trying to include Google Analytics. When I did, what shows up in the space on the page is below --- is this "normal"??? So far, I only put it on the "Home" page---
The start of " -- 0 false false false" kinda shakes me UP!!!

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /*Style Definitions */table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name: “Table Normal”; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:””; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:“Times New Roman”; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;}

1) As to the widget showing up at the top more than likely what you are doing is dragging it and dropping it before the green line appears to show you where it will be placed. It seems you are dropping it in the text box at the bottom and it automatically is sent to the top as default.. Put the green where you want it to go...

2) Sounds like that has to do with number 1 because you may have dropped the box and inserted the code or HTML and to you it appears as an empty space until you view it through a browser. Might check to see if you can delete the box or boxes which are the cause of the problem.

3) As to the Google code You may have not copied the entire code that Google had provided you. Try going back to Analytics and getting the code (make sure you have the entire code... you may need to highlight it all yourself within the box) then past it to your site with a HTML or a Widgetbox widget. I had tried both ways and they work.

PS If you don't enter the entire code it shows up as text only

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP SO FAR -- NOW I NEED SOME MORE!!
I was able to get the widgets where they belong. However, I was also putting "Easy Comment" widgets on the pages, on two of the pages, the widget includes "16,614 installs" i.e. OLD responses to Easy Comment sites(???)
How do I delete them? Also, I put my own email/comment, etc on one -- two times. I was able to erase one, but not the other. In addition, I thought it was supposed to send me an email. It did not. Why not????
Thanks again, Rex

Hi Rex,

To delete the widget, click on the 'x' on the top right corner of the widget.

Perhaps this service would suit better - it supports deleting of messages etc: http://www.cbox.ws/
1) Go to http://www.cbox.ws/ and register for free.
2) You can then copy the code from the 'get the code' text area
3) Go to SynthaSite and drag and drop an HTML widget onto your page and paste your code into the HTML editor
4) You should then have a new box!
5) To administer the box (delete messages/block users etc.), simply log into http://www.cbox.ws/ click on the 'Admin' tab and then the 'messages' menu item on the left.

Alternatively, you can go back to the Widgetbox Gallery and try a widget that suits better! To get email notifications, you would have to add your email address in the settings (if it has that option).

Hope that helps!
