It's a very cool site!

As yet your site hasn't been crawled by google. Have you submitted your site yet?

Indexing follows the crawl but there may be a delay typically 2 weeks but can be up to 3 months.

Your site when it becomes known I'm sure will be popular. beautiful design and fantastic images.

Goodluck and follow up on the link that Ruth posted to you.

Be patient you must young skywalker. :)

SEO is never instant, Have you filled in all your meta content?, verified your site with google and added a sitemap to webmasters?, added the url to all search engines? linked it everywhere on high page rank sites? installed google analytics?,

If the answer is yes to all the above sit back and wait for the next crawl.
If after that your still not getting noticed you will have to think of a plan B, forums, social networking, media sites, etc. may be the way rather than through search engines.

Small sites don't often see the light of day in this web we call the web, you have to push yourself on to the world.

Good luck - you have a good site so the rest will follow - Lee.

Hello hugh,

I'm a little wary of these schemes because I wonder if they could be classified as pay for ranking type schemes. If that was the case you would be history with google.

Does anyone have info on this?

Well, there are many options for you to be noticeable to everyone. You can either pay for people to be able to see your website, or just choose the FREE option, which most people use. If you have MySpace, you are able to make friends there and have your link on your page so people see it and click on it, or you can make bunch of friends there, and let them know about your site and they will eventually make comments on it. Another option is the one I gave you before, that site what it does is that you just click on the links they are promoting and just from 15 to 30 seconds of just checking that site, you get points. After getting enough points, you will be able to use those points to advertise your site. They use a kind of directory and expose your site to other members and some search engines. This will help you to increase viewers and visitors to your site. You don’t have to pay anything, is just a way to let the world know that you are interested in showing your taste. It works, I have been using it and it works for me, it all depends in how you want to use this free tools. But there are many ways you can promote your site without having to pay anything, if that’s what you are looking for. Also consider other blogs where you write about your this site you have.

I think the Duke gave you excellent advice. Have you had the opportunity to do what he suggests? Curious how it is going now.
