Hi

I've recently published my website www.launchscientific.com and it looks fine on my PC, but when I view it on other monitors, particularly widescreen monitors, the text looks all blurred making it very difficult to read. Can anyone help me to rectify this problem?

Thanks

Matt

Hi Matt,

I've checked out your website on a couple different monitors and it looks sharp and clean. Can you please reply here with a screenshot of the blurriness you are seeing so we can investigate further?

Hi Laura

Thanks for your response - I've added a screenshot so that you can see what I mean re. blurring. It only seems to affect certain computers (or monitor types?), and am just concerned that clients won't be able to easily view my content.

Cheers

Hello Matt,

I can see marked feathered edges of the text and wondering if this is what you are referring to? If so try another font as a test and see if this changes the quality.

Hello Matt

I've checked this for you in all browsers supported by Yola on a Mac and a PC. Your text shows fine for me with all browsers on a Mac, but on a PC, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari will display the font blurry. To be honest, I have no idea why this is happening, but it seems that Firefox, Chrome and Safari on a PC have problems interpreting the font type correctly.

I'm afraid that to avoid this, you will need to change the font type, either to a more web-friendly one or to one from our fonts under the Style tab. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you right now.
