my website has been having problems for 4-5 days. It will work and then the next time I go to get on it, it takes forever to load and then it says "the connection was reset" This looks terrible for our business. What's going on and what can I do to get it back online? URL
Thank you!

Hi, Jaime,

You have four A Records--two for the old IP and two for the new IP. Please delete the two records for the old IP. Please let us know if this does not solve the problem.

I am seeing your site right now, but basically, it cycles between the two IPs so intermittently you will see a problem when it's showing the old one.

Hey Jaime! To change the A records, first login to Godaddy. Go to your product dash board by clicking the domain you want to manage (Most likely in your account manager (You get taken to the account manager when you first login to Then, you will see a thumb nail of your website and then click "More Settings" Then, there will be a bunch of links. If you see "Total DNS records" click the "Manage" link. Then, you will see a bunch or records. Go under the A records and find the ones with the old IP ( Then, delete those 2 records. But make sure to keep the other records with the new IP there and don't mess with those.

I hope this information helps

Hi Jaime,
We hope the information on this thread is helpful, please let us know if you have further troubles. Here is a screen shot of what things need to look like in your GoDaddy account for the A Records. Notice the areas in red outline, and if you click on the little icon to the right you will be able to edit the record.
