Okay, so I have created a website (Firechat, social-networking site) about 3.5 weeks ago on Yola. I have added many widgets onto my site. Took many hours of hard work of researching, collecting info, etc. However, every once in a while, I log on to Yola to work on my site and some widgets are gone, like the google friend connect login box, recent activity, recent visitors, etc. This upsets me very much because I really do not like to reinstall half of my widgets all the time. I've also noticed that most of my widgets that are "magically" dissappearing are from Google. Now this brings me to wonder, is someone hacking my account? Is Yola modifying my website? Please help me, any info would be appreciated.

Hello bkhang7,

This does sound quite frustrating. I want to assure you that unless you have shared your account details with people, no one can have access to your sites. The Yola Reps will not make any changes to your site unless given permission first by you. If you feel that someone has your details, please feel free to change your password. You can do this by clicking on the 'forgot password' link on the top right of our home page on

As for your widgets disappearing, it could be that you need to update your Flash, and your Java. It could also mean that you have a lot of widgets on your page and it's causing the page to load slowly and therefore some of the widgets do not load up. Another possibility is that there is incorrect coding on your page which is creating problems for your page. Lastly, you could try using a different browser to see if that makes any difference.

Please try going through these steps to see if they help in any way and let us know how this goes.
