Hi Gary

This would depend on the terms and conditions of the widget service you are using. Often one of the terms of service is that you not alter the code of the widget. In other cases the widget author might have particular requirements.

Before making any alterations it would be advisable to contact the widget designers or the support staff of the widget service involved.

Hi Munish, your site looks great. I can only echo Monique's answer that the get widget is part of the terms and conditions that you agreed to when you got the code for the widget.

Think of it this way: you are getting a great looking widget for free, in return the developers would like your friends to know where you got it from, so that they can get one too.

My suggestion is that if you wish to delete the words "get widget" from your widgets you should contact the widget designers or the support staff of the widget service involved.
