How do my customers choose the size they need for the apparel I sell - i.e Small, Medium, Large etc?
I don't see a drop down button to add to my site for that option

I am ready to publish my site - but cannot until my customers are able to select their individual size - :-)

Hi Tami

Right now there is not a drop down option, so you need to treat each size as an individual item. This is definitely a feature we know is needed and something we would like to work on. This is our first release of shopping carts and the feature set is rather basic. We appreciate hearing what you need as this will help us to prioritize our future development.

If you give me 20 minutes I will have a walk through tutorial on how to do a drop down for paypal. Including item, size and individual prices.

20 minutes...

1) Sign into your Paypal account
2) Click "Merchant Services" tab
3) Click "Add to cart" button
4) Ensure the "Accept payments for" drop down is set to (Products)
5) Include Item name and item number ( Leave price box empty:)
6) In the "Customize button" box below, check "Add drop-down menu with price/option"
7) Enter the name of drop-down menu
8) Enter your clothing sizes in the blank fields (small, medium, large)
9) Include prices in the price fields that appear.
10) When complete click "Done"
11) Add shipping and tax if required.
12) Track inventory (optional)
13) Customize advanced features (optional)
14) When done click "Create Button" button
15) Click "Select Code"
16) Right click on highlighted text and click "Copy"
17) Open your site editor and drag an HTML widget where you have the item image located.
18) Paste the copied code in the HTML widget and click "OK"

Follow these steps for each item you wish to include a paypal buy now button to include a size drop down menu.

Your buttons and generated the code can be found in the "My Saved Buttons" page once you have created them if you need to return to them to change or get the code again..

It may seem like many steps buy when you have done it a few times it should take you no more than 5 minutes per product.

Happy site building

Great tutorial. Thank you. It does involve using custom HTML instead of the Online Store widgets, so the challenge to us is to make sure we include this same option in our widgets in future. We certainly intend to do this. In the meantime this is a great workaround. I really appreciate the time you put into this response!
