Hi Shirley

At first I thought that you were referring to your under construction sign and although quite simple to me it would take an hour to describe all the steps involved to make the text you removed completely disappear so I did it for you in Adobe Fireworks but then I re-read your post and then saw your banner. LOL My bad for not reading slowly... ;)

For your banner the images that you used are quite distorted and the text is unclear. I downloaded your image and broke it into its frames to get a closer look at it and from the images below it's my opinion that it would not make for a good animated GIF once combined.

I would take your initial 900x150 pixel banner image (frame000)and fit all the text for the following images within the border so that it can all be visible once combined.

Once editing is complete, you can use the following animated GIF generator to combine all the images together for a seamless GIF animation.

Make sure that step one is set to "Leave original sizes". You can play around with the transition speed to get the look that you want from your finished version. A 1 second default is usually fine.

Let us know if you need anything further...

Happy site building

By the way... frame001 should read "You're not alone" not "Your not alone" ;)

Thanks so much for your help. I went back after posting and started all over again. I had stuffed up the size it is now working as I had hoped it would.
I'm new to all this website stuff and often rush ahead instead of checking things first had hoped to have site ready by New Year but guess it will be a little late lol
