Hi Julie,

The message: "This page could not be reached by Disqus. If you are testing locally or on a password-protected page, please use the disqus_developer parameter as detailed here.." is not something you need to worry about. To get the comments working, you just need to update your site and you will see the comment box working on your published site.

Take a look at this helpful tutorial about adding comments to your blog: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/article....

Hope this helps!

Just saved and published the site again.
When I view it in sitebuilder i get this "Could not connect to URL" followed by a load of numbers then " error 403"
I then went onto the search engine and viewed the website and the comment box is there , but i'm now confused as there seems to be 2 comment boxes on the page now both are different
Please help

Thanks

Hi Julie,

I have taken a look at the Disqus comment box, and I can see the following message: "We were unable to load Disqus. If you are a moderator, please see our documentation about identifiers and urls." The error you are receiving could be caused by an incorrect URL added to Disqus. Here is a link to the documentation provided by Disqus, about how to resolve this problem: http://docs.disqus.com/developers/js/.

However, there is a second Disqus comment box on the page that is working, so I can suggest you try remove the widget where you can see the Disqus error message, and republish your site. That might eliminate the problem and remove the extra comment box as well as the error message.

Please let me know if you encounter any problems with this!

Thanks for the help.
I have removed one of the boxes and now just checked through the search engine and I only have 1 showing. It still will not let me see anything on the site builder only the error message i stated before , do I need to completely remove and start all over again ?

Thanks

Julie

I have checked and the Disqus comments is working for me on the Testimonials page.

I would recommend that you clear your cache, this could be the issue.
