I try to use MySpace as my main source of promotion... after all... I have 5600 friends and increasing daily... however... any website with this .synthasite is disabled by myspace. Therefore, the only way to promote it on myspace is by telling your friends through your status message to copy and paste the link. Is there a way around this? Can I maybe create another site through another creator such as geocities(or something like that) with the synthasite url saying. For all your music needs click here! type of idea?

I haven't tried that... I've looked for free domains before and they always cost money or the website creator's aren't that good. If I get another domain can synthasite still host it? Can I use synthasite still? How's that work?

You can buy your domain name here and have yola host it....Your stile would then not be a sub-domain...I think that is the problem myspace has...I think I am right but I would wait for one of the admins here verify what I am saying about myspace and sub domains

Hi Donald,

An option would be to buy your own domain (through us or another domain registrar). You can also workaround the Myspace issue by changing your url using a service like tinyurl (http://tinyurl.com/).

The .co.nr and co.cc domains do work with Yola. You can see a short tutorial that Monica put together on this link http://getsatisfaction.com/yola/topic... (it has info on setting up a .co.cc domain).

If you have any other questions, please let us know.
