How do I add text to a custom panel? Are these just meant to be blank coloured boxes?

Add the panel/color box to your page, then drop a text widget in the color box and add your text.

Check it out if you like on one of my test pages I am experimenting on.

I too would be interested to know how this works. I set up a custom box, dropped the text widget on, but all I had was a plain paragraph font which was nothing like the what I thought it would be. I had to edit it 'manually'.

FF7.0.1, up to date, cache cleared.

Thanks

Using Firefox 3.6.23
I am adding a text widget to the colour panels. Within the colour panel widget, there is a 'fonts' option. I thought that these options would be applied to any text you entered into the colour panel. e.g. heading colour, font colour, heading larger that rest of text etc.....

Hi Sarah,

I do see what you are speaking of. Please note that the font changes you make on the custom widget panel will be applied if you use an HTML widget with h1 and h2 tags.

If you are not familiar with HTML coding, I would using the text widget and making your text selections from within that entity.

When I use the text widget in the colored custom panel I get a white box with my text in it. There is no transparency with the text box. Basically I see a white text box, with my text in it, in a red custom panel box.

How do I get rid of the white text box so that all I see is the text on the red custom panel box?
