That is a great site! It is up to Boomer how much information he would like to share about how he built it. Keep in mind that me might not be able to give a full tutorial!

Hello Hussain,

There are many image effect scripts here. Not necessarily the one that you mention but some fairly sophisticated applications.

Look around the site, there are lots of great things available.

I hope you enjoy. :)

Hi Hussain

I agree that Boomer's site is definitely top-notch! Everything is done by using HTML coding, javascript, etc... and using your column widgets.

As for getting rid of the "home" - you can easily do this as well by going to your "edit menu", then drag the "home" page from the "in menu" to "out menu". Just remember though if you have other pages and you want your visitor to return to your homepage, you will need to create a link to do so.

If you right click on the page and then select "view page source" you can get an idea. However, for anyone reading this, please understand that I am suggesting this as a way to pick up tips only - not as a way to copy other people's work. I know that is not what you want to do, but I am just stating it for the record :)

Hi Hussain

To make a box, you can use either table codes or div codes:

Div code:

<!--<div style="border: 1px solid black; padding: 10px; background-color: rgb(93, 196, 211); text-align: center; width: 300px"><font size="3"><b>YOUR HEADING IF YOU WANT ONE<br></b></font></div>
<div style="border-style: none solid solid; border-color: -moz-use-text-color black black; border-width: 0px 1px 1px; padding: 10px; text-align: center; width: 300px">YOUR TEXT</a></div>-->

Table Code:

<!--<table style="border-style: solid solid none; border-color:
black black -moz-use-text-color; border-width: 1px 1px 0px; padding:
5px; background-color: rgb(93, 196, 211); text-align: center; width:
300px; height: 50px;"><tbody><tr><td><font size="1"><b>YOUR HEADING IF YOU WANT ONE</b></font></td></tr></tbody></table>
<table style="border: 1px solid black; padding: 0px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-align: center; width: 300px; height: 30px;"><tbody><tr><td>YOUR TEXT</td></tr></tbody></table>-->

You can change the color, width, height, size.

You can take a look at my homepage if you'd like. I change the above code a bit to remove the images and tooltips but at least you can get a general idea. The ones on my homepage are done using the div code.

Nicely created site... yea... there's more to it than the kind of template... if you insert a text widget and start typing it ain't going to look nothing like what's there. But hey, here's an idea... ask BOOMER!

If you are comfortable with using javascript and know your way around coding, then you can easily do this for yourself as well. Please check out this site for many great javascript coding that you may implement onto your site. http://www.dynamicdrive.com/new.htm This is where Boomer gets many of his ideas from.

It's not that Boomer doesn't want to share - in fact, he does share and is very willing to help out. That comment was made because some of the things he has done are quite complicated and can take a very long time to write up a tutorial about. I'm sure though that if you want to attempt something, Boomer or any one of us will be more than willing to help.

And BTW my words to Monica were:

I'm hopeing nobody is going to ask me how I did it
because it will take me days to explain.

If you are refering to the top banner Hussain,
that was done with Microsoft Publisher. (Available on most PC's)
Saved as jpeg and cropped to 978 x 263px.
