In addition to password protection, can we have a feature where the Yola site I create doesn't show up in Google searches. Mine shows up even though I added nothing to the Search Engine Optimization.

Hello there David,

Unfortunately the only way you can do this is by adding a robots.txt file to your page and Yola doesn't allow this at this time and I am not aware of any plans to add this functionality to Yola in the near future.

At present the only way to stop your site from being indexed is to add password protection to it.

If you need any further assistance, please let us know.

Hi David,
please read google.com/robot.html and follow their instructions to generate a meta tag to disable Google's activity on your site, then , put the html meta tag in a HTML widget ON VERY TOP of your index page.

Oh ,

I can't remember it well,
google's bot name is "Googlebot" , and you can order it to prevent following AND indexing your site by adding these TWO meta tags.
Please search the net for No Follow , No Index meta tags.
