Chris,

You can have a display of "In Stock" without numbers appearing. I am not sure at this time though if it keeps a running count for the store owner behind the scenes.

Can you tell me if this is OK or not? Gop.

You can also probably change the Store CSS to not display the stock level in anyway. This could be another option that presumably would count the stock level for the owner?

Let me know.

With the store you can't change the content of labels to something else as it won't allow for any change of the HTML. The way it does allow mods is by removal or CSS changes.

Hey Gop,

Having a display of "In Stock" would be ideal....how would I go about making this change?

Thanks,

Chris

2 options although one doesn't show any title and that's div.ecwid-productBrowser-details-qtyAvailInfo {
display:none;
}

The second one "in Stock"

Set your stock quantity for your product as unlimited.

The third option (unproven) is to simply state the title In Stock while doing all the inventory counting but not displaying the number. I will need to investigate the code for this but have a look at these 2 options and see if they will work for you.

I will get back here in a little while.

Chris if you can try and add these two CSS snippets to your Store CSS:

div.ecwid-productBrowser-details-qtyAvailInfo {
display:none;
}

html#ecwid_html body#sys_background div.ecwid-productBrowser-details-qtyAvailInfo {
}

This worked on my store but it is a very modified store setup.

Hey Gop,

Thanks for your help, I was hoping there was an easier option, just to switch the counter off....

I dont want to leave the product as unlimited for obvious reason....

Hopefully there will be an update for that....

Chris
