Horizontal Websites on Yola?

Has anyone tried to do a horizontal scrolling website? I have a template and it is very close to working but I'm wondering if the Yola footer is what is causing the problem. The reason I think that is that when I first put this up it didn't work at all. Then when I removed everything from the menu it worked somewhat but everything is vertical. Now I'm wondering if the footer might be causing it to remain vertical. Anyone have experience with this? Go to this link to see what I'm trying to do: http://www.thehorizontalway.com/ and here is how it's coming out: http://testvillage.yolasite.com/horiz...

Hi Diane,
It looks like it's vertical because there's no CSS styling attached to the content. It's late here so I'll look at it if I get time tomorrow.

huh, there is a css file. Maybe I didn't call it correctly. Thanks, I'll check it out and if I don't figure it out you can take a look in the morning.

Got it to work a little more--now the background and arrows show up and it scrolls. But I can't get the text to look right.

Hi Diane,

Add this code to the page:

.container
{
width: 90%;
margin: 10px auto;
max-width:2770px;
}

Change the 'max-width' to what should work for you, but I tried it out on your site and 2770px seems to work. I'm sure you know to add this inside tags and all.

Thanks, I'll try it out. But now I have to start over 'cause I messed it up--oh, well I'll take my time with it :) Thanks again, Connor.
