The best thing in my opinion would be to host it free with Yola and just point your 123-reg domain name at Yolas servers.

If you want to do this log into your control panel - choose to manage the domain in question - manage DNS - and set up 2 ANAME records,
www - 208.75.208.172
@ - 208.75.208.172

Thats what i do with my site http://hexham.info - the domain name is from 123 and the site is hosted with Yola.

If you want to use 123 as your host, there is a little arrow next to 'update my site' - click this and choose 'download site' -- after that follow instructions at 123-reg -- i have never done it so i can not advise any further, Maybe someone else can help if you get stuck.

Rememeber Yola Hosts sites for free - and they have great up time and really fast server response time.

Hope it works out whatever you choose - Lee.

Thanks for info Lee

I already have emails working with 123 on same domain and already paid for a years hosting with them and also bought domain name from them.

So would make sense to stay with them right?

yes and no -- now you have paid it sort of would yes.

If you had of asked this question before you paid i would have 100% suggested just hosting with Yola.

Like i said 123-reg is my domain registar, i really like them, but i host with Yola and i use google app's for my email - you can have up to 50 free email ad's from your domain name i.e. whatever@hexham.info

Its up to you -- i have heard of issues when creating with Yola and hosting else where but for sure it can be done.

The easiest way would be to do as i suggest above but i can understand you have paid now and so it would be a waste of money.

Try downloading the site and uploading it to 123 if you like, if you encounter any problems just right off the money you have spent and host with Yola - or try to see if you can get a refund maybe.

You might as well try and see if it works hosting with 123 and building with Yola.

I'm also undecided :) -- Lee.

Thanks for your help on this one Lee :)

Ocfinternational, you can find info on hosting your site with another host on this link: http://www.yola.com/customer-support/....

Please note: if you elect to host your site elsewhere, we can only support you with the process of creating your site, and downloading it. Thereafter all support relating to the hosting of your site will become the sole responsibility of your service provider. While we provide the option to download your site and host it elsewhere, we cannot guarantee that our downloaded sites will run on other hosting servers.

So, we strongly recommend that you host with us instead, and it's all free!
