How do I know when my sent email has been read?

Hi Kathy, 

In order to assist you I'll need to gather a little more information. Are you referring to an email you sent to Support or are you referring to read receipts from a Yola Mail account?

One of my emails sent out, always sends me a "read"email before any kind of reply. This happens only with the same email contact, not others. I must have set an option somewhere, but can't figure out where.

Hello Kathy

How are you using your Yola Mail, are you using an e-mail client like Outlook or Thunderbird? These clients allow you to set getting a return receipt. The same goes for your Yola Mail webmail interface. When you log in there, you'll find this option under Settings > Preferences > Composing Messages. It's labelled "Always request a return receipt" which you can check or uncheck. I'm not sure why it's always the same contact you get the return receipt from. Sending the receipt is voluntary, so if the recipient has to agree to send it when your e-mail comes in.
