Hey there,

Hope someone can help me with this page on my site... http://www.startrkade.co.uk/rkade-world

What I would like to do is remove the border between my banner and the navigation bar. Then change the top grey bar to my purple, and then a gradient purple on the side and bottom.

Please help me haha :)

Thank-you.

Hello kade,

Apologies for the late reply to this thread. I'm wondering if you still need assistance with this as it appears you may have already addressed this, with the exception of a gradient purple?

You will need to upload an image that contains a gradient purple pattern. Here's an online generator that could create such an image for you: http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/gradient/

Please let us know if you still need further assistance.

Thanks for the reply,

Yeah, I've been teaching myself some CSS so managed to work it out. Thanks for the link too, I'll try that now.

Wonder if you can help me with something else too...

With my categories widget at the top, can use CSS override to make the categories display horizontally as oppose the the list style? And whilst i'm here, can i can the style of my blog titles only?

Thanks for your help!

Hello kade,

It sounds like you're getting the hang of using CSS codes.

I am not sure if you can change the list-style of the Categories Widget. If you look at the page source, you will see a link to the CSS for the Categories widget. You can take those codes and paste into an HTML Widget and play around with it.

If you wish to change the color, font, and size of your blog post titles, this will require some HTML coding to do so. Here's how:

On your blog page, drag over an HTML Widget.

Paste in the following code:

<style type="text/css">
div.sys_blog div.post h2 a {
font-size: 50px;
font-family: Times New Roman;
color: #5dc4d3;
}
</style>

You can replace the following:
font-size
font-family
color

Please let me know if you have any trouble with adding this code to your site.

I have this as a possible source...

<div id="sys_region_1" style="margin:0px; padding:5px; vertical-align:top; line-height:normal; min-width:100px" class="zone_top" ><div id="I165" style="display:block;clear: both;margin:0 0 0 0;" class="Layout1_Default"><table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" style="width:100%;"><tr><td id="Left_I165" style="text-align:left; vertical-align:top; width:50%;" ><div id="I247" style="display:block;clear: both;text-align:left;margin:0 0 0 0;" class="BlogCategories_Default">

Would the "vertical-align:top" be what i should change?

Thanks.

Hello kade,

Thanks so much for your patience!

I did a bit of investigating and I think now I've found the code to make this work:

<style type="text/css">
div.sys_blog h2 a{
font-size: 20px;
font-family: Times New Roman;
color: #5dc4d3;
}
</style>

I hope this works for you now too!
