Hey Dan,

To fix the Firefox Redirect Loop you have to clear your cache and cookies. If you are using the most recent version of Firefox, this is how to do it:

1.Go to 'Tools' in the top menu and select 'Clear Recent History...':

2. Then make sure that Cookies and Cache are at least selected, then click Clear Now:

This should hopefully fix it.

Hi Dan,

I'm sorry I'm only coming back to this thread now.

When I look up your domain (you can use a service like this one: http://www.kloth.net/services/dig.php), I see that it is not pointing to Yola. If you would like to point your domain to Yola, please follow the steps outlined on this link: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/publish....

It has the steps to pointing your domain with GoDaddy.

I hope that helps.

Hi Dan - it can take up to 48 hours for DNS changes to your domain to take effect. You are welcome to email us (support@yola.com) and I will be more than happy to help you to update your DNS settings on GoDaddy so that it works with Yola.

If you would like to purchase a domain from Yola, click on "Publish my Site" or "Update my Site" and you will be able to buy a domain by upgrading to the Professional option. You can also do this when you are logged in on Yola and on the My Sites page of the website.

Dan,

I too host @ GoDaddy, and have had this problem several times; I cleared all my private data as Connor suggests but this did not help with my problem, it was not a blocked cookie. In your case, it could be that your Aname or Cname records could be incorrectly pointed. Your Aname should point to the server # that Yola gives you. Your Cname should be pointed @ your Yola subdomain. If all is pointed properly, then you would also need to forward your domain to the subdomain...if you parked your domain, it will point to the GoDaddy affiliate search page. Remember that it could take up to 48 hours for DNS changes @GoDaddy to take effect.

In the previous cases of my domain www.cosmicspores.com as well as www.greyeyesgabrielinternational.com, I just issued a support ticket @Yola support@yola.com and within 24 hours of submitting my ticket. I believe it is an internal error in the server routing within Yola, it has been totally random with my domains, it has only started since the last update that regulates the number of free domains (for new accounts) and freezes the number of subdomains @ whatever you have if you were already over the 5 website limit. I suspect it is an issue dealing with the last server update and will be resolved with the next update. I hope that someone finds this useful. And thanks to Yola/Synthasite for providing all the tools that you provide for free and continue to improve on, it has been exciting to be a part of watching you grow into such a success.

Hi Gabriel - I have answered your emails in Support and I think they are going to your junkmail folder :) This is my last response:

When I look up your domain's DNS settings, I see that you have pointed your domain to Yola correctly, however you still have the previous A Records (64.202.189.170) on the domain. Please could you make sure you remove the A Records not pointing to Yola as this will cause problems to people going to your site.

If your .yolasite.com address is the address that your website is defaulting to, please take a look at this link: http://www.yola.com/customer-support/.... However, this does not happen when I go to cosmicspores.com. Can you fix the above and let me know if that makes a difference?

Thank you for the fix advice; I will delete that record, I thought I had done that, but I do have several domains, it is not impossible to miss one or two. The issue has been fixed; perhaps after the latest server updates for the new appearance of the sidebar tools, nice. I am actually working on a few things @Yola right now. I will take care of the GoDaddy part of it now, thank you. I was receiving the emails, I receive a lot of mail @ that address, and kind of ignore the notices while working and focused on my building/publishing. I am also dealing with a Toshiba laptop with a sensitive frame that freezes, at the worst times, LOL...thank you for working on my issue; actually I was trying to help provide some help here as well, www.cosmicspores.com is displaying fine right now and just got updated with some new web 2.0 features. I have been dealing with Widgetbox issues as well; also with the GetSatisfaction website; I have integrated GetSatisfaction into my websites also. Thank you for providing so much for free!
