I am a photographer and I am looking for a website where I can set up online viewing and ordering of my clients proofs so they can view and order them from my site. Can anyone suggest where and/or how to do this?

Hello,
It is possible to post pictures (such as your client's proofs) on your Synthasite website and then set up a PayPal store for the purchasing. It isn't possible to set up member logins if that is something you would need though.

If you thing something like this might work and still have more questions let us know and we will see if we can help.

Regards,
Emmy

I have this already but I want to post one picture with options under it to pick the size and qty and this would put what they choose in a shoping cart and then they can check out. I have found a site that I really like that allows this www.onlinepictureproof.com but I want to keep my synthasite website. Synthasite has been awsome and I would love to stay with it and add the options if possible. Please let me know if there is any widgets or a way to do what I need done. Thanks.

Hello Cindy,

Unfortunately the SynthaSite Online Store widgets don't yet offer a feature to add product options. However, you can add this to your site by visiting PayPal and customizing the code so that you can have a size selection on your site. Here's how:

1. Sign into your PayPal account.
2. Click the "Merchant services" tab in the horizontal menu.
3. Click the "Buy Now Button" or the "Add to Cart Button".
4. Choose button type and enter name and payment details.
5. Check the "Add drop-down menu with price/option" box half-way down the page.
6. Add the details of your selection.
7. Click "Done".
8. When done editing click "Create Button".
9. In the next window and in the (Website) code box click the "Select Code".
10. Right click on the highlighted text and click "Copy".
11. Open your site editor and drag an HTML widget where you need it.
12. In the HTML widget paste the code.
13. Then Preview or Update your site or page.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

How about creating pages with password codes on them then also making sure the pages are watermarked so that there is no chance of coping? Wouldnt that work?

Thanks for the advise, but it wouldn't work because when I do a photo shoot, I end up hundereds of pictures for my clients. I need a way to post them in a slideshow form with the ability to stop the show and order the pics. Thanks anyway.

Okay - here is a solution that I have found VERY useful. I'm working on a site for a non-profit organization. They have shirts on cafepress that they sell to raise money. Instead of putting a link to go to cafepress, I used bitty.com to insert an iframe into my sites layout. So now the cafepress store shows up on my synthasite page

See how it works on my site http://lpasample.synthasite.com/suppo...

So if you want set up your account at that other site and then link it through to your
synthasite page.
