I would like to add a pop-up window clicking on the smaller, re-sized pictures to show them in their original size. Any idea how to make it? Thanks!

Hii Valika

Here's one from Dynamic Drive that may meet your needs. Just replace the text link with your images.

I know that, what I am asking though is do I have to add (< html >) and (< /html> ) tags in between the script? Thanks.

Hello Anthony

You should not need to add the html tags. Can you please post your URL where you've added your code and we can take a closer look at why your code is not working? Thanks.

Here a link to an example of me trying to just paste the code: http://honestdaveslures.yolasite.com/... I can't even get to the link part because it reads the code as text. Also, I have it contained in a two over one column set up. Notice how it takes over the whole page when pasted in. Thanks again.

Hi Valika,

You can also try Flickr. The Flickr Lightbox widget allows you to quickly and easily create a slick photo gallery with thumbnails that link to larger images. Here's how it is done:

1. In the Content sidebar in Yola, open the Photo Gallery folder.
2. Drag and drop a Flickr Lightbox widget onto your page.
3. In the properties sidebar enter your Flickr account email address (usually a Yahoo! address) in the email address field.
4. In the "Photo Count" field, enter the number of images you want to display.
5. In the "Search" field, enter the tags of the photos you want to pull from Flickr (make sure you have added tags to your Flickr photos or you will not get the desired result).
6. Specify how many columns you want for your photo gallery.
7. Click on the Image Size drop down menu to select small square, thumbnail or medium sized images.
8. Finally, choose between a "modern" or "plain" style for your photo gallery images.
9. Click the "Apply" button to update your photo gallery.

Now save and preview your page. You will have a gallery of clickable images. In the top right hand corner of the large view of the images, click the "next" button to view the next image in the gallery. Click the "Close" button when you are finished browsing through your gallery.

Note: If there are privacy settings on your Flickr photos the search will not be successful. The photos need to be publicly available for it to work.

We have a great tutorial for you to view, please click here: Photo Galleries - http://www.yola.com/tutorials/photo-g...

Thank you Kershnee, this is exactly what I wanted and it was a built-in possibility in the sitebuilder, awesome! I didn't noticed this feature before, so thank you to point it. I've just tried, how it's working, it will take some time to make what I want, but this will be the easy part. I'm grateful!:)

Uh, I have a problem with the Flickr Lightbox. It worked perfectly in the site builder, but it doesn't work at my site. The pages having this feature on are loading as totally empty pages. I have to admit, that I publish my site at a different server. I had no problem with this before. Please, help me!

Hi Valika. Unfortunately this will be very difficult for us to debug. If you are self-publishing we do not know if your hosting server has all the right settings. We can only ensure that your site runs correctly on in our own hosting environment. I recommend contacting your host for support on this one.

Monique, can you or someone else at Yola help me with giving some more specific information regarding the right settings required? Thanks in advance!

No, I am afraid not. You will need to contact your hosting provider for support. The only information I have is that your server needs to be running PHP5.2x or higher, and SQLite3 or higher if you have a blog. Further than that I can't help you with any details, and you need to find out from them what needs to be done.
