I want to add either Grooveshark mp3 player or Dewplayer to my site. I want a player that can show play list (artist, title) and can display all songs uploaded from my library on said list. How do I do this? Thanks...

Hi Chris,

While I am not familiar with Dewplayer or Grooveshark, I have done a simple Google search and found an easy way to customize a Grooveshark widget. Please take a peek at this link to create your widget:

After customizing your widget, you will receive an HTML code that you can copy and paste into an HTML widget on your Yola site.

Here's how to add HTML to your site using the HTML Widget:

1. Drag and drop an HTML Widget from the sidebar on the right onto your page (the icon for this is a blue sphere).
2. An HTML editor will open up that will allow you to write or paste your code (use right-click > paste or Ctrl-V to paste).
3. When you are done, click "Save" and you will see the way that the HTML displays on your page.

Certainly let us know if you struggle with this!

Hey Brianna,
Went to Grooveshark, and signed up for an account. Went through all the rigamarole of making widget; but when I clicked to 'finish' it, nothing much really happened. Instead of it confirming I'd finished (and, I'd hoped, giving me HTML code to paste to my site), it just kind of did nothing. I figured maybe I'd somehopw screwed up so i logged out/back in again, and went through the whole process one more time and...

Same deal. I'm aware I'm not at all tech savvy; but with all the directions, etc., it shouldn't be this much of a trial even for someone like me, should it?

Hi Chris

Brianna is currently offline, but I hope I am able to help you.

I am not familiar with Grooveshark or Dewplayer widgets either. I have looked at the Grooveshark website. From what you have described, it looks like there is a problem with the widget embed code to add to your website. As this application is a third-party widget, you will need to contact the Grooveshark Help Center for assistance with getting the embed code.

Once you have the embed code, we will be able to help you further! Please let us know if you need more help with this.

This is a Grooveshark or Dewplayer but it is an MP3 player that will support a playlist of multiple songs. I received this help email from Yola Support staffer Josephine back in January. I haven't yet gotten to try it out, but I've reposted the email instructions here for you:

Whether you are looking to add just 1 song or multiple songs, Mixpod is a slick program allowing you to easily do this. Please follow these steps:
1. Go to and sign up for a free account.
2. Click on the "Create playlist" tab.
3. You can either select from a list of available songs or click on "Add URL" for your own songs.
* your music URL would look something like this: "
* replace with your domain name and yourmp3.mp3 with the name of the song.
4. Once you've added your songs, click on the 2nd tab "Customize". Here you will be presented with a list of different customizable skins. You will also have the option of selecting your colors & styles, as well as the choosing what settings you'd like such as autoplay, shuffle, etc..
5. Once you've created the look and settings you want, then you can click on "Save Playlist" - fill out the required information.
6. Click on the green button that says "SAVE (get code)".
7. Select "Other sites" and copy the embed code provided.
8. Drag over an HTML Widget and paste in your code.
9. Save and update your site.
You should see your music player working on your site.

I hope you find this useful. Please don't hesitate to contact us again with any other questions.

Kind Regards.
