i'm currently trying to create my page for the first time. I've selected a template & page layout (1 over 3). Is there any way to create more boxes on the home page? I'd like to have 5 boxes with images, and place a few lines of text underneath with a hyper link next to it 'read more' or hyperlink to another site. Can that be done? The sixth box, I'd like to be video.

Just drag the widget you want from the right side onto your page. When you see a green line across the page, let go and it'll be there.

A tip: It's easiest to use the 1 Column layout. You can drag the column divider over widget to divide your columns as often as you want.

Thank you Margie. I will make it a 1 column layout and use the column divider. When doing the column divider, can you then drag the pix widget on top of it + the text widget?

Hello Monet,
Yes, you can add a an image and text to each side of a column divider widget. Just drag the Picture Widget into the side and then the Text Widget beneath it. Here is a screen shot of what this looks like:

Thanks Emmy. You know that light green area around the widgets? I wish there was a way to place the text widget right on top of it. If there's several picture widgets, I'd like to place "Featured product" right above the image. However, the text widget is the entire horizontal length of the screen as shown above...which is nice for a large image, but not for several on a page. I'm trying to have different featured areas. Five pix widgets and one for a video widget. I want titles above each one "featured x", "featured x," "scene," "video," "x trend" & "x trend" in that light green area for editing. Is that possible?

Actually, the Text Widgets that are added there are individual Text Widgets underneath each Picture Widget. You can add a Text Widget underneath each Picture Widget. So, if you wanted to you could put a Column Divider Widget into each side of the first Column Divider Widget and then you would have 4 columns for adding pictures and text beneath each. I hope that makes sense. I would suggest that you play around with the widgets a bit and see how they work when you drag widgets into the Column Divider widget.
