First , get the Addthis , Share this or Tweet this or something that you need to put and bottom of each post.

Go to blog manager.

Settings.

Paste that code to the space provided to put the disqus comment code.

Hope this helps.

Check examples,

click on a post and see the bottom.

Hello Rynaldo

My apologies for not seeing this thread earlier!

Here are the steps for adding a retweet button to your blog posts:

1. Go to this link Tweetmeme Help and copy the first block of code "The Code".
2. Click on the "Blog Manager" button.
3. Click on the "Settings" tab.
4. Paste the code before your commenting code, if you have all ready added this.
5. Save and click on the green "Publish to the web" button your site.

**Note:** If you view your webpage/blog posts in Preview mode the retweet button will not display properly, it will show a "?". When you republish your site and view the published page the retweet button will then show properly.

Also keep in mind that until the page/blog post has been tweeted once, the button will say "tweet" and not "retweet". Once the page has been tweeted once, the button will change to say "retweet" and will display the current number of tweets.

You may also be able to do this for your other social media buttons. I recommend trying this on a test blog first!

I hope this answers your question. Please let me know if it does not.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm having issues with getting social buttons added to the bottom of blog posts.

I've followed the steps above, but nothing seems to pop up at the bottom. As the reply post was written so long ago, I was wondering if anything has changed.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Hello Will

Can you please let me know on which of your sites and on which page of that site your blog is? Please also leave the code you tried there, so that I can check for errors. Thanks.

Hi Stefan

The blog is found at

http://www.a-class-driving.com/bristo...

on my

www.a-class-driving.com site

I've managed to get some sharing buttons on this page, but at the side of the posts. Are there supposed to be sharing buttons at the bottom of each post? When these posts get picked up by things like twitter or facebook, are they supposed to have share buttons available at the end of the post on their too?

The code i used is The Code from the TweetMeme page

Thanks for your time

Hello Will

First of all I'm sorry for the late reply. I was trying to assist you on this matter, but when I try to open your blog pages in your Yola Sitebuilder, it takes ages to load them. They must be full of custom code that causes the page slow to load. So I wasn't able to test what happens if you add custom code for Tweet buttons to the HTML of your blog posts, which would have been a solution to add Social Media buttons at the bottom of each post.

Apart from that, the HTML feature for the Yola blog is also a bit faulty at the moment, and unfortunately a fix won't happen too soon because there have been other priorities on our list so far. We know that blog providers do a much better job on blogging than us, which is why we have integrated with Tumblr. Instead of using the Yola Blog Widget, I would rather recommend you to embed a third party blog like Tumblr into your Yola website. They usually offer you all the Social Media features you want at the right spot.

I'm sorry that I don't have better news for you at this stage, and hope you will find another solution for your blogging needs on Yola.

I seem to be having the same problem...

I want to be able to add the social buttons at the beginning of the post, instead of at the bottom, is there a feature that can let me do that?

I tried using the Tumblr feature you advised, however the theme and social buttons I use in Tumblr do not appear on Yola. Is there a fix?
