I want to know how to align text next to banner adds?

On my site on this page; http://michellesfoodandhealthsite.yol...

I want to know how to align the following text ""What happens on your plate represents your most important engagement of the natural world and the biggest impact on climate change"- Michael Pollan" in a box text to the two banners I have on my page.

I tried to do it with the blue text by using this code:
"What happens on your plate represents your most important engagement of the natural world and the biggest impact onclimate change"- Michael Pollan

but it didn't work...
also how do i colour the text in html?

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks..

Michelle.

Hi Michelle

Probably the easiest way to align your text is to drag a two-column widget over. Place your banners in the left hand column. Then drag a text widget over and place in the right column. By using the text widget, this gives you the option of changing your font colors as well.

Please let me know if you need further assistance. =)

That's what I would do... Two column layout, it'll be right along side the banner ad

the color not changing is generally because the template has a fixed color scheme sometimes... this can be fixed by adding a < /font > tag with no spaces right before the ending tag of < /A > in the html... sometimes it won't work, but it usually does for me.

Great job Michelle! I just have a tiny suggestion. I would create some white space between your banners and the blog below. Just drag a text widget over and place underneath that two-column widget you just added. You can hit the enter key to create more space. Give it try.. and if you don't like, you can always delete it. =)

make sure you delete, "start typing your text here" in the text widgets.... I left it there once and it actually showed up on the published site lol

when I add space with text widgets, I usually only use the one line.
