I have a YOLA Email account and want to back up the messages onto a folder on my harddrive. I know how to export contacts, but not the messages.

Any help would be appreciated.

Happy New Year!

Hello Mary,

I don't know how to retrospectively back-up emails from Yola Mail so hoping that Yola have an answer to this.

For prospective mails it may be worth your while configuring a POP client like Outlook or others so that you can use their facility for such. You would need to configure the forwarding advice to keep your mail on the Yola Mail server if you intend to access such mails in future by the Yola Mail facility.

Yola Mail has a large but finite mail store and this is another reason to use such a facility. Outlook for instance has a huge ability to store mail and you can use backups to access mail. I would probably look at another POP client though as Outlook seems to be coming to the end of its life. I currently have 12 years of mail stored on many backups but can still use the primary source for accessing.

Hi Mary,

Yola Mail does not offer a way for you to back-up your emails. I'm sorry. I hope that Gop's suggestion might work for you.
