This is the code i use on my sites:

Add it to a text widget by using the html function (then you can edit the text normally)

<div style="border: 1px solid black; padding: 10px; background-color: rgb(167, 148, 106); text-align: left; color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"><font size="3"><b>Add your own text here</b></font></div> <div style="border-style: none solid solid; border-color: -moz-use-text-color black black; border-width: 0px 1px 1px; padding: 10px;"> <font size="3"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Add your own text here. </span></font></div>

at the start of the code it says background-color -- you can change this.

Lee.

Need anything else just ask.
