Hi Ryan

You may find this tutorial helpful as it explains how to get a new password. Even though you did not forget your password, I think it will still work for you.

I was really surprised to learn that Yola does not provide an option to change password. The only way to change password now is via the "Forgot Password" feature. Password change is a standard feature of any application/site that relies on password-based authentication and it should be definitely added.

Alek - you make a very good point. This is an oversight and I will ask our developers to work on a solution as soon as possible!

Thanks Monique. I appreciate it. BTW, I tried to use the forgot password feature, and for some reason it did not send e-mail notification. Actually, I was changing the e-mail (I was transferring site to my friend), so I changed e-mail (to yahoo.com), and I did not get a prompt to verify new e-mail. I also tried the forgot password option (several times ), but never got an e-mail (I checked both old and new e-mail, including spam folders: nothing). I then changed e-mail to gmail.com and this time I got a notification to verify it, which I did, but the forgot password feature still did not do anything. So your developers may need to give it a look, as well.

Hi Alek,
Thanks for providing that information. I will have one of our engineers take a look at this. When you changed to the gmail address, did you receive the reset password email? Can you email me at support@yola.com and give me the yahoo email address you were trying to have the reset password email sent to, I can then do some checking. Please put Attn: Emmy. Thanks!

No, I did not receive the password reset e-mail at gmail, either.
