I have already changed the background of the banner size. Anyone know how to change the actual banner image size using CSS? (I tried using the re-size tool - doesn't work).

Thank you!

Hello Liz!

Could you let me know the name of the style you are using so I can take a look and get the right code for you? Thanks!

Hi, Brandon.

Thanks for responding.

The style is "Paws." Can you change a JPG image size with CSS?

Thanks,
Liz

Do you mean the style 'Paw Prints'? And also, do you want to change the size of the space where the banner is, or change the size of the actual picture you uploaded?

It seems to me you want to change the image itself. You say the resize tool doesn't work? In what way? Also what dimensions would you like (In pixels)? I'd like to help you with this! Would it be possible for you to provide me with the image you are trying to use so I can test a few things? Thanks.

Sorry - yes, I meant "Paw Prints." :)

When I use the re-size tool and make it smaller than the dotted line, the image does indeed get smaller, but when I preview it, it leaves a white space filling in the rest of the banner size. So it changes the image size, but not the "size" behind it, if that makes sense.

So to answer your question, I guess what I need to change is the size of the space where the banner is. I don't want to change the width - that would mess up the look - not fit in with the body - but only the height.

I'm heading out - so if you don't hear back from me, you know why! I'll check back later for your reply.

Thanks!

Hello Liz,

I have already resized the banner area for you. You need to upload a new banner with the dimensions you want. So, if your banner is 150px high then you can change the height value in the CSS code I provided for you accordingly.
