How can I create a secure slideshow ?

I was using Slide as galleries on my web pages. I am a photographer and a lot of my images are of children, so I was quite disturbed when a customer called me yesterday and was very concerned about an image of her child. I didn't realise when you go into an image you can use it elsewhere.

For safety and as a photographer, I don't want people to be able to use my images. Does anyone know of a non-technical slideshow package that is more secure, free and uses images uploaded from files rather than URL's? Thanks.

P.S. Forgot to add, am working on a Mac!

Hi Forest

I can certainly appreciate the concern you are expressing. Unfortunately, there is no foolproof way to prevent people from using your images. You may be able to put some preventative measures, but the advanced web users can still find ways to circumvent those measures.

There are ways of doing slideshows that grab your photos from your file manager if this is a preferred method for you. It will not be as easy to implement as Slide was. If this is something that interests you, you can preview different slideshows that have been made available via the Yola Code site: - Please read the rules before grabbing the codes.

Please feel free to ask more questions if needed.
