In seting up my free .co.uk buisness website I entered the domain name I wanted into a box which by mistake happened to be the "customize domain" box. Of course with out paying for this domain I cant use it. Now I have realised the correct box I should have used but the domain is now taken. How do I delete the other one?

Hi 10starjester,

Once a domain is registered it is not possible to delete it, this is the nature of domains and something that is beyond our control. The domain will remain registered to you until its expiry. You can simply opt not to publish it, turn auto-renewal off and allow it to expire without using it. Alternately you can use it in conjunction with your preferred custom domain as even a misspelled custom domain might have the added benefit of helping to drive more traffic to your site.

Thanks for the reply however I dont think I explained it properly.

I tried to add the domain to a free .co.uk website on the websites for buisnesses scheme. however I entered it into the wrong box and now it will not allow me to use it without paying for it. I was wondering if there was a way of transfering the domain across to the 1 free domain name.

I'm still not certain I follow, but if you tell me the domain name in question I can check on its status and your account standing and hopefully sort out the issue.
