Hi,
I cannot seem to extend my footer beyond the container
I tried to extend the width but still footer background does not extend beyond container.

Here is my CSS.

.container {
width: 100%;
margin: 10px auto;
max-width:1024px;
}

.footer {
background-color: #d5d5d5;
min-width: 940px;
padding: 00px 0;
border-top: 1px solid #e5e5e5;

and here is my HTML

As you can see by the screenshot its repeating ok at the top.

Can you let me know what I need to do.

Many thanks
Mark

Hi
I have now changed the page design so it's not a problem now, but it would have been nice to know based on the info I previously gave you.

Thanks again
Mark
