How can I make a website which allows users to choose their preferred language e.g. english, french or german. I do not want to use the translation widgets as these do not translate accurately. I'd like to keep the look and feel the same for each page in any of the languages where I will provide the text (I have native speaker help)

Appreciate the help.

http://sribuaban.synthasite.com/ This site is set up for multilingual and may give you some ideals. He put up 2 flags for 2 different languages.
The information and images are the same with the only different is the language selection.

On something like this you'd have to set up separate menu so as after the language is selected you only see the rest of the site in that language that you selected off the Index Page. From there you can set up a home page for each language.

Example

Index Page

Language 1 Language 2

Home Home
Page 1 Page 1
Page 2 Page 2
Page 3 Page 3
And So Forth And So Forth

I would also suggest setting a link back to the "Index Page" in both languages just as a curiosity in case one selects the wrong language.

In your site builder to the left of the "Hide Content Sidebar" is "Save with a drop down arrow that when you click on it The bottom selection "save page as" will copy the same page over so as all you have to do is change the language.

Thanks for the tip. I think I'll probably go down this route. The tip on how to duplicate the page is just what I needed.
