How can I make a page not indexed by the search engines? I'm not talking about password protected pages, but these are pages like "thank you for subscribing" or pages that I have linked from a specific location and want only seen by certain people.
You can do this using meta tags. There are two parameters; "index" and "follow". "Index" refers to whether or not you want that particular page to be indexed. "Follow" refers to whether or not you want the spider to follow the links on that page. So what your looking for would be something like this:
<!-- <meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow"> --> (without the <!-- and -->).
This needs to be inbetween the header tags of your site so you'd have to paste this code in the "Site Tracking Code" header option. As far as I'm aware of this is only a Yola Silver option.
