how can i make a transparant image?

hi!

i know now that MS paint does not support transparant images but where can i make one without downloading any software?

The only common format for transparent images that I'm aware of is .png.

yes, im goint to try picnik, so it has to be a .png to be transparant, no editing just save it as a .png file right?

You also have to select a transparent background.

The Picnik version that's tied in with yola can't be used. It will give you an opaque background.

You may like to try the version that available directly. I haven't used it.

i never used the yola version i always use the FULL one,

do you know where i can make my image transparant, i have made it i just need it to be transparant.

.gif images can also have transparent backgrounds.
Beneton Gif Creator is a version that is completely free. It also has a built in image editor.
