Here is my question.

Before I have been uploaded a lots of images to my main file manager now I want to move my all images to my different different folders.

How can I move my all images to different different folders without moving option?

Or if I copy my images and past it to folders and delete all images from main file manager
after do my website will not appear a broken images because if we remove any single image
from file manager it appears a broken image in my publish website.

I am so frustrated because I spent a lots of time on my website approximately5 to 6 month I don"t want do it again I must want move images if possible because when I open my file manager its take a to load and time I know why it takes because of junk of images and its also makes me hard to know what i am looking for in my file manager .

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME

Thank you.

if you move the files you will have to change the link attached to them.
I would recommend just putting up with the few extra seconds it takes to open your file manager - you could also check there are no unused files in your manager and get rid of them too. Lee.

Hi Honey,

This is the only method you can use to move your files from one folder to another:

1. Click on the File Manager button in the SynthaSite toolbar.
2. Right-click on the file and select "Copy".
3. Go to the new folder, right-click in the empty space and select paste.
4. Your picture will be pasted and you can go back and delete the older file by selecting right-click > delete.

Since your images are already added to your page, you then need to follow these steps:

1. Click on 'Edit' on the top-left of the file.
2. Navigate to the file in your File Manager.
3. Click on 'Select'.
4. This will ensure that the correct path is being used for your file.

For more information on how to use our File Manager we have a great tutorial here: File Manager - http://www.synthasite.com/tutorials/f...

Nicely presented Ruth.
It really is dramatic how the visual gets it in deeper into the grey matter.

Hello,
It will work the same way if you click on the image in the Text Widget and then on the Image Icon on the Edit Toolbar. You will then be able to navigate to your File Manager and go through the instructions Ruth gave you.

Hi Honey,

What you have told me is exactly correct.

Once you move the image from a folder in your File manager to another then the address has changed.

You must then go back to your pages and alter the address in the code. This can be done as outlined above.

Is this OK so far?

Yes I can.

I understand that you added your images using the image widget and not the text widget. is that correct?

So now you have been into the "File Manager" and created a new folder and then you have copied your picture files into that new folder?

Can you tell me the name of the new folder in the "File Manager" where you have copied your picture files into?

OK Honey, We are nearly there now.

1. Click on the File Manager button in the SynthaSite toolbar.
2. Right-click on a picture file file and select "Copy".
3. Go to the new folder "I like it", double-click on "I like it" and it will open the folder and then Right click and select "Paste".
4. Your picture will be pasted into "I like it" and then you can go back and delete the original file by returning to the original file and selecting right-click > "delete".

Is this OK?
