Hello martin,

I do not believe it is possible to see who has "liked" your site. I'm sorry. This would be a neat feature to have though!

Hello Martin,

You can do this by adding a Facebook Likebox to your site.

I would suggest using the XFBML version of the three options available. because it offers another follow on facility being the ability to see when someone "likes" your site.

There are three pieces of code to install for this facility but explained in the plugin description on facebook.

The "likebox" also adds "faces" within the default configuration but can be de-selected if wished.

You can also add a "comments" which shows such on your facebook and your other site. The combination of these two works very well on Yola sites but as yet i haven't been able to get this working well on Yola blog entries. It can be done but the explanation and understanding is above my comprehension. :)

Khun Sanja,

I think FB plugins and opengraph is a very complex system.

I'm sure it would be of great benefit if you had a specialist consultant to customise these aspects for Yola applications. It is designed for the high techie and not the ordinary web-author to modify and implement these aspects.

FB is regularly promoted by Yola but few are able to really use this to full advantage. I'm not talking about developing apps from the ground up but rather the aspects which come up regularly?

Thanks for the suggestion Gop. We are always open to ideas. If this need for a "Likebox" should grow in popularity, we may consider it!

I have been looking for the answer to this exact question! It's a little bit deceiving to have the ability to see HOW MANY visitors like your yola website on facebook, however not be able to see WHO these people are. On facebook when someone likes something on you page, you are instantly notified, so I thought it would be the same on yola. Am i missing anything? I would really like to see who is liking my page especially because my page then appears on that persons facebook wall and newsfeed..yet i have no idea who is promoting me. I agree that this should definitely be a feature added to yola!!! Thanks :-)

Likes are generally related to the number of Facebook friends you have. For FB likes coming from your linked Yola site this is different. People who feel that the article is good will "Like"your article (if they have an FB subscription). They probably won't be your FB friends.

Namaskar Dr Sandeshrestha-ji,

The Yola sitebuilder uses a specific platform and advice by Yola and the community is oriented to this platform. Your site is not a Yola built site and for this reason you would be better seeking help from your own web-host. This community is not likely to know the limitations and allowances of your host system.

You can certainly perform general web-searches via Google, for example, on this topic and work on a list of potential chat clients that may be listed suitable for your system.
