How can I set up mail to my iphone? I am unsure of how to set up incoming and outgoing mail servers for the iphone. Please help!

Hi eastcoastmanagement2,

If you would like to to set your iPhone up to receive your Yola Mail, please go to your Yola Mail page in My Yola and locate the POP settings that are displayed at the bottom of your page. Make note of this setting, it should look like this:

Next, go to the mail settings on your phone, click add a new mail account and enter the POP setting. Your e-mail address should successfully be added to the mail settings on your phone.

If you are trying to set up another email address on your iPhone, you will need to contact your email provider for those details.

As Justine has outlined above, you will use the settings located at the bottom of your Yola Mail page. They are POP settings that will look like this: Of course the 'yourdomain' part will be your actual domain. Please let us know if you struggle with this.

i just added yola mail to my site after building sites for plenty of my friends. I've synched their yola mail to their iphones no problem. But for mine, it keeps saying that my user & password are incorrect.

That is impossible because i literally just set up the yola mail and the user & password that goes with that. It's not like I've forgotten the user & password because I haven't logged in for awhile. I just created the user & password 2 minutes ago, so I don't see how it can be wrong.

I used to struggle as well when I set up e-mail accounts on my iPhone. This problem is usually related to own errors (which can happen) or to the iPhone, esp. if you were able to set up your friends' phones without problems.

Please double-check that your credentials are 100% correct by logging into your Yola Mail account from your computer. If everything works fine, please delete your e-mail account from your iPhone. Then restart your iPhone (switch off, wait a minute, switch on again). Once your iPhone is on again, make sure you have reception to the internet network.

Set up your e-mail account again (outgoing server = SMTP, ingoing server = POP). If you get the message "the server at could not be verified" or something similar, click on Continue. The checking process will take a while. Then your Yola Mail account should be set up.

If it still doesn't work, you will need to see someone in an iPhone shop to investigate further.

I was having the same trouble using the correct pop/smtp server from my yola page and my correct login info. I selected SSL for the security settings (as opposed to no security) and suddenly it worked. Thought I'd pass it on for others to try.
