How do I "activate" my inbox

I am using a domain purchased from yola. i followed the tutorial to set up windows live email. I've tried emailing my account but it doesn't show up in my inbox. WHen I checked my account it shows this:
Kim Williams
Created: Wednesday, March 28, 2012
Mail status: Enabled
Inbox active: No
Suspend mail | Delete user

So how do I make my inbox active?

Hi Kim,

Have you tried emailing out from your Live setup? If this works and receiving doesn't then it may be an error in setup and I would go back through the process checking the MX records specifically.

If neither sending nor receiving are working then this also may be due to some setup error but could also be due to a delay in propagation of the MX records. I've seen reference to this and a suggestion that it can take up to 72 hours. I would think that would be the far outside delay.

Live Mail is not as frequently used by Yola as is Google Apps Mail so the experience may not be an instant recall. You may also like to go into the Live mail users Forum and see if there is any reference to your issue in their Forum FAQ or KB? If not then ask the question on their Forum.

I hope that you can get this working without much hassel Kim. Please let us know if there's anything that people here can do to help you.

My Yola works for sending but I cannot see my incoming mail in the inbox?? I see them in outlook but why not when I use WEB mail?

Hello Salve

Do you check your webmail inbox before or after you use Outlook? After Outlook has collected your e-mails, they will no longer show in your webmail inbox. Please let us know if this doesn't answer your question.
