Becky you need to let us know what style you are using. Some styles automatically change the content area to the background fill/image. If the default does that, depending on the syle you are using, someone from the forum may be able to assist you with some code that would address your problem.
Also, please let us know if you have the silver level membership, that would make a difference.

Hello Becky,

I think that the easiest way to manage this is to use the Custom Panel widget with a white background. This will replace the area of the Panel with white and then you can choose text colour as you like for that aspect. Images can be surrounded by white borders by adjusting the margin widths.
