I want to include a web portal for my clients to access their individual and corporate tax information, and also a secure place for data exchange (uploading and downloading documents, etc.)

Hi sonyacoughlin,

From what I understand, you require a database, as well as the functionality to allow your clients to upload information to your site.

We do not have SQL databases at this time. We understand your need for an easy Sitebuilder and that is what Yola hopes to provide. We want to allow people with limited technical skills to build dynamic websites cheaply and easily.

If you are hosting the data on another website, you can definitely create a link to that site from your Yola site. If this is what you'd like to do, let us know and we can provide you with steps to set that up.

Right now it is not possible for visitors to upload files directly to your site. All content on your site needs to be posted by you. I am going to suggest two options for you to consider:

1. There are form applications such as WuFoo that allow your visitors to send you a message with an attachment via your website. Here's how to set it up.
2. The other option is to put an email link on your site: Link to an email address.

You can also take a look at this thread, for some more information: http://forum.yola.com/yola/topics/upl....

I am sorry I don't have better news for you, but I hope my suggestions are helpful!
