Hi Krissi

What meta-data would you like to add? In SynthaSite you can add description and keyword metatags in the Properties sidebar for each page. You can also add Google Webmaster tracking code and a favicon.

Let me know if this meets your requirements.

Monique - If you are looking in again.

I have looked - but I have no obvious bits in my properties side bar that would allow me to add meta data. Just a text icon (which does nothing if clicked upon) and four boxes for inputting margin px.

I REALLY need to add meta data as Krissi's message (page descrptions etc) - can you send some more detailed information.

I am stuck.

Hi krissi,

This is the section of you page that you should be looking for:

Please let me know if you don't see that on your screen.

Hi Krissi,

You can get the picture that Ruth's pasted above if you haven't selected anything on the page. It sounds like you had clicked on the text widget and then on Properties. To stop this from happening, click on the page and the options in the picture will appear in the Properties tab.

Hi - Yes thanks for this (AND SUUUPPPPPERRRRR FAST)
I did find it eventually - it is because it does not show on the screen until you left click on your mouse with your cursor somewhere over the page (as opposed to the menu - where nothing happens).

Found it by accident and am now very happyyyyyyy

Thank you very much.

hey, I was wondering if adding
<!---
<meta name="distribution" content="global" />
<meta name="rating" content="general" />
<meta name="copyright" content="my copyright info" />
<meta name="author" content="my author info" />
--->

was helpful / useful at all? I've seen it on some of the art sites I visit... If so, can I add this meta-data via an html widget on the top of the page?

Thanks!

Hello,
Meta data is added to the Head section of a website and unfortunately the only tags that you can edit in this section are under the Properties Tab (title, description, keywords). Adding that meta data via an html widget would put it outside of the Head section.

Kind Regards,
