How do I go about changing the font OR can someone offer a list of the fonts available? I'd like to choose the page with a scroll like font.

Hello Erica,
You can use the Edit Toolbar in the Text Widget to change the font of your text. If you highlight the text, you can then choose the option on the Edit Toolbar and choose a different font.

Unfortunately at this time font type is site/style specific, so it cannot be changed for the whole site, but will have to be changed in each Text Widget.

The font selection we have represents a complete list of browser safe fonts. See: Website Browser Safe Fonts. This means that the fonts in our text editor will work consistently in whatever browser your visitor uses. Unfortunately there are only a few fonts that work in all browsers. If we added any more fonts you would run the risk of not having your text display correctly for some of your visitors, which is why we have not added any of these fonts.

You could add custom fonts from an external source by copying and pasting, or editing the text HTML. However, you should be aware of the following dangers:

1. copying and pasting could introduce formatting that is not web-friendly and this would cause your site not to load, so we don't recommend it.
2. your site will not display consistently in all browsers.

The only safe way to introduce custom fonts on your page is to upload them as image files. You can do this if you have access to any image editing tools such as Photoshop, or you can try Picnik.com.

I hope this information is helpful!

Ahhh.. that explains the issue! If you want to change the font on your page heading, you will need to do some HTML coding. Please try this on a test page first as adding it incorrectly can break your page.

1. Go to the "Properties" tab.
2. In the box, under "Page Heading", enter this code:

<font color="#5dc4d3" size="5" face="Georgia">YOUR TEXT GOES HERE</font>

You can replace the following:

* #5dc4d3 - with the color value of your choice

* 5 - you can increase or decrease the numeric value to make your font bigger or smaller. Please keep in mind, that changing the size may shift your text higher or lower on the banner

* Georgia - with the face style you want. Please be sure to use web friendly fonts. You can see a list of these fonts in your Text Editing toolbar.

Please let me know if you have any trouble with this.
