You can add music by uploading the sound file to your file manager and they using the HTML widget to embed the music. I am going to share a link to an excellent article that explains how to do this. The article also gives very sound advice on the implications of adding music to your website. Please review it carefully before you proceed: http://www.thesitewizard.com/webdesig...

You can add music by using the Widgetbox Gallery:
1. Drag and drop a Widgetbox Gallery widget onto your page
2. A dialogue box will open, click on the Audio category or search for music
3. Choose the player that you would like to use on your site
4. Edit your settings to customise your widget
5. Click on the green 'Get Widget' button and it will be saved and added to your page
6. Save and preview your page to view the widget!

Please ensure that you own the copyright to the you will be playing.

This is the code I used ...

< DONT USE THESE CAPITAL WORDS
embed src="

http://www.94supraturbos.synthasite.com
/resources/Music/SupraTurbo.mp3" autostart="true" loop="false"width="2" height="0">

</
embed>

I chopped the code up, but that is the just of it ..
You can clearly see my site name 94SupraTurbos.synthasite.com
the resources is where the file is located .. that is file manager
and MUSIC is a folder I made to keep things organized. So I'd assume if you didnt make a folder for it and you upload your music directly to file manager it would be YOURSITE.synthasite.com/resources/SONG NAME.mp3

You would also have to make sure the type of file corresponds to what you are trying to play .. my file is an mp3 .. if you have a wav file you would have wav at the end.

Hey Prophetess, you should not use ALL CAPITAL WORDS. When you do that on the internet, it means you are mad and you are shouting (Or it at least looks like it) I just wanted to let you know because it's not good to do that is you aren't mad or you aren't shouting.

Upload your music to anywhere in your file manager.
Remember that location.
Use the code that I provided above.
Drag and drop a TEXT widget
And use the picture below as a reference for what information you need to use.
NOTE: To make things easier for you, CREATE A MUSIC FOLDER IN YOUR DIRECTORY and put your music in that. Than you can use the EXACT same code I used.

Replace 94SupraTurbos with YOUR SITE NAME.

If you are using YOLASITE instead of Synthasite, than simply replace YOLASITE for Synthasite.

right click this image and select "Open Link in a New Tab"

Hope this helps!!

And another NOTE: This method will NOT have a music player or slider on your screen. It will be invisible and comes on when you enter the page.

You can also use Yola's MP3 widget. It can be found in the Multi Media tab in the side bar in the site builder.

Hello Prophtetess

Nathan is correct. Yola was formerly known as Synthasite.

Can you please try using the instructions Marije left? Please let us know if you have any trouble.

If I can ask you to please refrain from using all caps when typing, that would be appreciated. When someone writes in all caps - it conveys anger and shouting in the internet world of communication. I'm sure that you didn't mean to do that. Thanks.

Sorry. I forgot to mention that. Just substitute Yolasite for Synthasite.
